Sparks: July 6, 1947; Clay Center, Kansas (BBU) 1:45 p.m. AAF pilot Major A. B. Browning and crew flying B-25 E to Kansas City saw a silvery circular object 30-50 ft diameter pacing the aircraft at a little lower altitude then shot off at high speed heading E at 11,000 ft at 210 mph.
