Cpl. Bolfango tracked stationary target on radar at 18 miles range for
ten minutes at 13,000 feet. Object then moved on 220° heading for
16.9 miles in two minutes or about 500 mph to a point over a mountain
apparently still at 13,000 feet, where it was lost. Visual observation
not detailed, only mentioned in summary. An object was tracked by radar
and sighted visually by two witnesses and radar for over 12 minutes.
Hynek rating: R/V; Vallee rating: MA1 plus any physical effects caused
by the UFO.
