RADCAT is a revitalized special project now being conducted jointly by NICAP & Project 1947 with the help and cooperation of the original compiler of RADCAT, Martin Shough, to create a comprehensive listing of radar cases with detailed documentation from all previous catalogues, including UFOCAT and original RADCAT.

Several Pilots Saw Fireballs (Probable IFO)
July 1, 1951
Seoul, South Korea

Brad Sparks:
July 1, 1951; Seoul, South Korea (BBU)
10:50 [10:20?] p.m. USMC pilots flying 4 F4U5N fighters with 1st Marine Air Wing saw several bright green spheres [fireballs?]. Ground radar confirmation [?]. (Project 1947; FUFOR Index)

Dan Wilson:
The PBB file/ AIIR IR-33-52 has no mention of any radar tracking. It does say the object was at 10-1500 feet which might mean that they had radar on it.
Perhaps the Operations Summary of the 1st Marine Air Wing for this period might have something. Still working on it.
