At 11:18 p.m. to 11:22 p.m., local time (22-0418Z to 22-0422Z) an unidentified target was picked up on the Plan Position Indicator CPS-6B radar set. The returns were "sausage shaped" and the target was moving on a ESE course at a speed of approximately 1800 knots at an unknown altitude. AIR INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION REPORT, IR-47-51E states, the possibility remains that the object may have been an unconventional flying object.
