Navy pilot, Lt. James R. Zeitvogel, flying a TBM aircraft near Mitchel
AFB, N.Y., sighted an unidentified flying object at 200 to 300 feet
altitude.Estimated to be 20 to 30 feet in diameter, the object
resembled a
parachute canopy and was light colored. Speed estimated 300 knots.
