9:30 p.m. USAF MATS C-47 pilot and copilot saw a bright white object move slowly then speed away. Then at 10 p.m. they saw 10 miles S of Baltimore a similar object. (GRUDGE/BB Rpt; FUFOR Index)

9:30 p.m. Two MATS pilots flying a C-47 on a local flight observed a bright white object at an estimated distance of 8 to 10 miles. The object was observed twice. Description: Bright white object about 1/6 the size of the moon. Speed: Slow at first the it accelerated very rapidly Time: First sighting at 2030 hours Second sighting at about 2100 hours Observers: Both are experienced pilots. In both instances the object was observed for two or three minutes.
