cooperation of the original compiler of
RADCAT, Martin Shough, to create a
comprehensive listing of radar cases with detailed
documentation from all previous catalogues, including UFOCAT
and original RADCAT. |
Brad Sparks: March 22, 1952; 20 miles S. of Yakima, Washington (BBU 1076) 6:05 p.m.local time. USAF pilot and radar operator
of F-94 jet interceptor made 2 sightings of a
stationary red fireball that increased in brightness
then faded over 45 secs. Note: Project Blue Book
Status Report #7 (May 31, 1952) says target was also
tracked by ground radar at 78 knots (90 mph) at 22,500
ft and 25,000 ft altitude. (Berliner)
