9:20 [9:15?] p.m. Two USAF C-47 pilots [Wisnieski ?] had
near-collision with white circular object heading NW. (Weinstein; Jan
Aldrich; FUFOR Index). Dan Wilson: April 25, 1952; Rhein-Main AFB, Darmstadt, West Germany (BBU) 9:15 pm. (2115 MT) Air Force instructor pilot and his co-pilot in a C-47 observed a brilliant white circular object at a point 2,000 feet over Darmstadt, West Germany. The pilot, Capt. Wienieski, took evasive action when the light appeared to be on a collision course with their aircraft. He contacted the main Rhein Tower and they in turn contacted Frankfort Airways and they reported that no other aircraft were in the area.
