RADCAT is a revitalized special project now being conducted jointly by NICAP & Project 1947 with the help and cooperation of the original compiler of RADCAT, Martin Shough, to create a comprehensive listing of radar cases with detailed documentation from all previous catalogues, including UFOCAT and original RADCAT.

Fran Ridge:
On May 12, 2002, the MoD (Ministry of Defense) posted an article that was headlined, "After half a century, it's RIP for the UFOs." This article tucked away in a few newspapers hardly reflects the truth. This one case is a good illustration. 'They were circular and appeared to be stationary. But as we continued to climb they did in fact change position arid to make sure of that we very carefully checked and these things moved across to the right-hand side somewhere. The higher we got, [the more] they lost this circular effect [which appeared] when looking at them from underneath. As they came down to your level they lost the circular effect and took on a ""flat plate" appearance.'  (See startling MoD case from early 1953 below also)
