Dan Wilson: Dec. 27, 1952; Borger, Texas & Albuquerque, New Mexico The sighting at Borger, Texas, was at 2209 hours MST and around six minutes later is when the object at Albuquerque was first seen at 2215 MST. This may have been the same object. This is what the Air Intelligence Information Report says. At 2309 hours p.m. CST (10:09 p.m. MST) a round white object with a white trail was sighted from DC-3 aircraft over Borger, Texas, by an airline pilot from Central Airlines. The object appeared to be at the same altitude as the observer (around 500 feet) and was traveling east to west. When the object was first seen it was moving very slowly. The sighting at Albuquerque was a ground visual, three observers. Two CAA radio operators at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque at around 2215 hours MST (10:15 p.m. MST) observed a milky-white object round in shape, traveling east to west across the sky. The object was also observed by an AEC Sandia Corp. employee from the residential section of Albuquerque.(There are two different dates given for this case. The PROJECT 10073 RECORD CARD lists the date as December 28, 1952 at 2216 hours MST. The AIR INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION REPORT IR-23-52W states the date was December 27, 1952. The USAF TECHNICAL INFORMATION SHEET also says the date was December 27, 1952). Detailed reports and documents reports/521227borger_report.htm (Dan Wilson) |
