| Fran Ridge: This report is case #3, on the official clearance list. of 41 formerly classified Air Technical Intelligence UFO reports cleared for Maj. Donald E. Keyhoe by Albert M. Chop, Air Force Press Desk. Jan. 9, 1953; Santa Ana, CA. The crew of a B-29 bomber watched a V-formation of blue-white lights bank near the bomber, then climb away. (UFOE, III) Dan Wilson: Jan. 9, 1953; Santa Ana, Calif. (BB) At 7:27 p.m. PST, two observers watched a V-formation of blue-white lights approach their B-29 air refueling aircraft at a rapid rate of closure. The lights appeared to hold the same position momentarily and then made a slight rise and disappear. The observers were 1st Lt. Lowell D. Brandt, USAF, Aircraft Commander, and 1st Lt. Charles C.
