RADCAT is a revitalized special project now being conducted jointly by NICAP & Project 1947 with the help and cooperation of the original compiler of RADCAT, Martin Shough, to create a comprehensive listing of radar cases with detailed documentation from all previous catalogues, including UFOCAT and original RADCAT.

Approximately twenty-five unidentified objects were observed on GCA radar from 9:30 pm to 1145 pm. The objects were observed at irregular intervals in groups from three (3) to eight (8) at speeds from 80 to 100 mph. One F-89 aircraft was scrambled at 10:08 pm, to attempt interception. Dan Wilson:
October 16, 1953, at 9:00 pm (17/0200Z),  Limestone AFB, GCA Station alerted Presque Isle AFB, GCA Station, in an effort to confirm observations of unidentified objects seen on Limestone AFB, PPI Radar scope. Presque Isle AFB, GCA went into operation at 9:30 pm. The objects were located and observed.(Reference: AIR INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION REPORT, REPORT NO.  F3G-T-14A)
