Wilson: July 21, 1954: Boise, Idaho A USAF jet interceptor climbed to 20,000 feet to try and identify an unidentified flying object high above. The CAA said the jet was unable to get close enough to see the object clearly. The object appeared to be drifting slowly against prevailing winds at that altitude.
