Several civilians reported seeing flying objects over Marrero. The objects appeared to be at high altitude. Moisant Airport radar detected nebulous targets in the area. At 9:40 p.m., observers reported that three flying objects were in a V-formation changing to a straight line, then disappearing upon the appearance of two aircraft in the area. At first the objects appeared to be hovering. then moved, gradually accelerating. The observers believed that the objects were not aircraft. |
