Glowing Disc On Legs Freaks Dogs

5:30 p.m. Denis Crowe, a former diplomat and aircraft artist, and a group of dogs, encountered a glowing disc resting on legs on a beach. It was estimated to be 20 feet in diameter and about 9 feet high.  The top and bottom were silver gray and the rim in between was glowing greenish-blue.  A hollow area at the very top may have been a glass dome.  There were no windows or antennae. The dogs all barked at it.  When the witness was 50-60 feet from the object, it took off with a sound like air forced from a balloon. Crowe watched it for about 10 seconds until it disappeared into clouds. After the object took off, the dogs were strangely silent. No EM or physiological effects were reported.
