| Fran Ridge: April 25, 1966; Ocala, FL 8:52 p.m. EDT. Governor's plane paced by two objects. The crew and passengers of a Convair aircraft carrying Florida Governor Haydon Burns sighted two apparently connected bright yellow or yellow-orange globe-shaped objects that paced the plane for about 40 miles. Witnesses included newsmen and state officials. When Burns ordered his pilot , Capt. Nathan Sharron, to turn toward the UFO(s), after getting clearance from the Miami control tower, the objects climbed steeply and disappeared (aircraft avoidance). (U.F.O.
