Animal Reaction Feature:
David Scarpino, accountant, was walking his Golden Retriever around the Ossining Reservoir at 8:15 pm.  He saw bright lights in a boomerang formation hovering over a large tree a few feet away from him.  His dog did not appear to notice the object.

Joan Woodward, Animal Reaction Specialist:
Scarpino noticed the lights over his shoulder and turned to see 12 bright lights as described above.  He thought the lights were on one solid object and compared its size to that of a 747.  He could hear no sound.  As he watched, the lights slowly turned 180 degrees “as if on a wheel” and started moving south at walking speed.  The object again hovered. All but one blue and one green light went out, and then those lights blinked out. Nothing more was seen.

No EM effects and no physiological effects were reported.

This was one of hundreds of boomerang sightings between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm  in Westchester and Putnam Counties.
