RADCAT is a revitalized special project now being conducted jointly by NICAP & Project 1947 with the help and cooperation of the original compiler of RADCAT, Martin Shough, to create a comprehensive listing of radar cases with detailed documentation from all previous catalogues, including UFOCAT and original RADCAT.

CPS Tracks Silver Disc
April 13, 1952
Moriarty AFS, New Mexico

Brad Sparks:
April 13 [12?], 1952; Moriarty AFS, New Mexico (BBU)
4:45 p.m. (MST). Four USAF airmen saw silver disc-shaped object to the E traveling very erratically at high speed, then dove. [CPS-5 radar tracking?] (McDonald files; Jan Aldrich; BB Rpt 6; FUFOR Index)

Dan Wilson:
There is no radar tracking. The sighting was all ground visual by members of the 768th AC&W Squadron. The documents say that no unusual radar returns were observed at Albuquerque and at Moriarty.

Brad Sparks:
What I'm suggesting is that for some reason a separate classified RADAR report was submitted to ADC and all mention of it and any mention of radar at all was carefully avoided for some reason.  Only when pointedly asked about radar by Ruppelt was there a response discussing radar (in the alleged negative).
