Dan Wilson:11:30 p.m. EST, a large bluish-green oval or round shaped object was observed circling and hovering in the sky for at least 45 minutes by W. L Tatspaugk. Two F-86D fighters were scrambled. This may mean that an object was observed on radar. Hyattsville is approximately 2 miles NE of Washington DC. Docs do not confirm radar, but see newsclipping below.

The Baltimore Filter Center had the object on radarscope for over two hours. 100 Mystery Objects Spotted Here, pages 1 and 4) Don Keyhoe wrote in ALIENS FROM SPACE: "On June 12, another giant ship---or the same one ---made a night appearance, hovering at 79,000 feet between Washington and Baltimore. Air Defense immediately scrambled jet fighters, to be ready if the alien spacecraft came down in firing range. For an hour the gigantic craft held its high altitude, while the AF jets circled helplessly beneath it."
