October 23, 1954; Olmstead AFB, Pennsylvania (BB)
8:45 p.m. EST. The pilot of a T-33 jet aircraft observed a blue round object the apparent size of a baseball held at arm's length. The object made a 10 o'clock fighter pass from the left down in front of nose of aircraft making loop and pursuit curves. There was another sighting one hour later. Location of observers: 3410N  8130W (South Carolina) / 3450N  7905W, (North Carolina). The length of the observation was 3-5 seconds. The location given on the PROJECT 10073 RECORD is Olmstead AFB, Penn., a Flight Service Center. 

Fran Ridge:
A very borderline case, but the maneuvers (if correct) eliminate a meteor.
