4:40 p.m.: In a Cessna plane manned by Jorge Suter (a pilot with 25 years of experience) and Ruben Andrawoss, and at an altitude of 7,500 feet, you can observe a metallic UFO with a discoidal shape and a dome on the right. Appeared at 1000 meters. away and would be 30 meters in diameter. On a couple of occasions the foreign object came almost to the nose of the Cessna, leading the crew to think of an imminent collision. They tried to communicate with the Catamarca Control Tower, but it was impossible due to interference called "frequency fading." They called any plane, answering one of Aerolíneas Argentinas (flight 713). Once the UFO withdrew, it was only then that the crew of the plane were able to make contact with the Catamarca Aerodrome. It was lost at tremendous speed to the north. According to the experienced pilot Suter, he had never seen a maneuver like the one carried out by the anomalous aircraft, in all his years of experience as a pilot, and at the speed that it was carried out. They were also witnesses to this event, a driver and 3 passengers of a car, who at the same time were traveling on the road that goes from Recreo to Chumbicha. They saw the UFO and at that moment the engine of their car stopped, and later they reported the case at the police station in the town of La Chumbicha. Dr Richard F. Haines Files, Case 63)
