UFO sightings and an F-106 crash fatal crash
May 1967
During the month of May 1967, many
UFOs were being reported in southwestern Ohio. On May 17, a report came
from Xenia, Ohio, near Dayton. On May 17, 18, and 19, UFO
reports came from Dayton, Ohio.
On May 21, 1967, a UFO was
reported in Union County, Indiana, approximately 5 miles west of a Nike
Base at Oxford, Ohio, approximately 20 miles southwest of Dayton.
It was on May 19, 1967, an
F-106 Delta Dart jet fighter from Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio,
crashed near Chillicothe, Ohio, killing the pilot, Major George
Williamson III.

May 21, 1967: At 3:00 AM in Union County,
Indiana a dark object with a circle of red pulsating lights lit up the
area as it moved slowly along the highway below tree top level. It made
two passes during the two minute sighting. The witnesses experienced
retinal after image. The location was five miles west of the Nike
missile base near Oxford, Ohio. (Ref 7)
