Animal Reaction Feature:
One witness and about a dozen dogs encountered a 20 foot disc resting on a
beach. The dogs all barked at it. When the witness was 50-60 feet
from the object, it took off with a sound like air forced from a balloon.
After the object took off, the dogs were strangely silent.
Joan Woodward, Animal Reaction Specialist:
At about 5:30 p.m., Denis Crowe, a former diplomat and aircraft artist, and
a group of dogs encountered a glowing disc resting on legs on a beach. It
was estimated to be 20 feet in diameter and about 9 feet high. The top
and bottom were silver gray and the rim in between was glowing greenish-blue.
A hollow area at the very top may have been a glass dome. There were
no windows or antennae.
After the object took off, Crowe watched it for about 10 seconds until it
disappeared into clouds.
No EM or physiological effects were reported.
