Gulf Breeze, Florida

Animal Reaction Feature:
Two cats appeared indifferent to a large vertical triangular object at treetop altitude estimated 100-500 feet away.  Frogs were noted on a screened door, but it is not known if their presence was related to the object.

Joan Woodward, Animal Behavior Specialist:
At 9 PM, sky partly cloud, a 42-year-old woman, who had one year of business college and computer training and no prior UFO experience, was hanging clothes outdoors in a suburban area of Gulf Breeze when she saw an object.  She watched it rise and move to the SSE, and then return.  She called her 15-year-old son and both observed the object for 3-4 minutes.

The object was described as a dull-surfaced vertical triangle taller than a 2-story house. The mother described lights at the apex of the triangle and lights along the edges, though she could not remember the color of the lights on the edges.  The son reported red lights at the edges.  Both reported the object to be “translucent white,” and estimated the sides to be 50-100 feet long.

There were no sound, no EM effects, and no physiological effects reported.
