Animal Reaction Feature:
Neighborhood dogs, including one that seldom barked, were barking excitedly as two men, 23 and 25, arrived home.  The witnesses saw a fuselage-shaped object that rose over trees and hovered overhead at treetop level before moving west.  A low hum was heard.

Joan Woodward, Animal Reaction Specialist:
It was a clear night in an area with farms and woods. The two men, their occupations described as laborers, arrived home at 9:15 pm from a fishing expedition.  Their attention was attracted by the barking dogs.  Looking,  they saw a slow moving object rise up and over the trees to their east.  It hovered over two houses, and then came toward them. One witness moved into the street, and the object hovered about 40 seconds directly overhead until a car approached and the object moved away.

The object was described as an estimated 200-300 feet long with stubby wings near the front.  The long fuselage had many read lights and there were three white lights on the front.  Tubes and pipes could be seen underneath.  The surface was a dull gray, and the object made a low hum.

The car followed the object and the witness followed the car.  The object came toward them [witness and car?], but when the lights [car’s lights I assume—jw] were blinked, the object slowed, turned, and departed at speed.

No EM effects were reported.  Physiological effects were questionable.  The next morning both men awoke with sore throats, but they did not know if there was any relation to the object seen the previous night.
