2:29 a.m. [9:54 p.m.?] Pilots flying 2 helicopters and 2 ground controllers saw a saucer- shaped object with slight red glow. (Weinstein; FUFOR Index)

August 11, 1954; Maxwell AFB, Alabama
7:54 p.m. The PROJECT 10073 RECORD CARD gives date and time of the incident as 12/0154Z which converts to August 11, 1954, at 7:54 p.m. CST. The apparent size of the object was a baseball held at arm's length. Columbus CAA Radio also had object in sight. (Dan Wilson)
