11:55 p.m. EST. A glowing orange object with domed top, hovered, maneuvered over the area, seen by police and citizens. The object was tracked on Air Force and FAA radar "making tight turns at a low altitude." (NICAP report; U.F.O. Investigator, Vol. Ill, No. 6, Jan. -Feb. 1966, pp. 1-2.)
