October 1, 1948, Fargo, North Dakota
George F. Gorman, Air National Guard Pilot in F-51 aircraft at
2100 hours, observed a clear white light approximately 6 to 8 inches in
diameter at 1000 to 1400 feet altitude. The light made several left
turns, one right turn, diving and climbing, over a period of 27
minutes. The light was faster than the F- 51.Gorman stated that
positively that there was "thought" behind the
maneuvers.

Manuel E. Johnson, Assistant Airport Traffic controller at Fargo
Airport.
Dr. Cannon, Occulist, first saw object when he was landing his plane at
Fargo Airport.
