chasing. We have better docs KOing Venus (Deyarmond) so this is just ftr.

This is the same document.  The memos by Griffith and Deyarmond "conclusively" denying Venus and concluding "unexplained" were like Comment Nos. 3 or 4 or 5 to this same memo.  This copy is an early copy before Griffith and Deyarmond commented Nov 8 and 10, 1948.

b. Opinion as to whether or not planet could be seen from aircraft at 15,000 feet or from the ground
Ans. It is doubtful that Venus could be observed by the unaided eye from the ground or 15,000 feet.
