NARRATIVE OF FLYING DISCS REPORTS DURING THE PEROID OF 14-24 OCTOBER 1949 IN THE VICINITY OF MT. PALOMAR, CALIFORNIA

An effort was made to find out if planes from the Naval Air Station at San Diego had been in the vicinity of Palomar during the dates in question--- October 14 and 17, 1949. A negative reply was received.

A series of  flights were made over Mt. Palomar using radio, altimeter, and radar in conventional and jet planes to see if they would activate the Geiger counter--the results were completely negative.   These tests were run on 9 November 1949.
