Captain Richard Montgomery - Co-pilot of B-25
 
Observed a bright yellow light between Stockton and Sacramento, Calif., while flying a B-25 at 8,000 feet at 11:30 P.M. As the object approached the B-25 and passed in front of the B-25 the pilot stated that the object was definitely not another aircraft. The object first came into view on an apparent collision course with the B-25 number 8820
 
No other aircraft in the area--no radar returns
