Directory Listed as item #24 on the Albert M. Chop Clearance List , this was one of 42 formerly classified UFO reports released to Major Donald Keyhoe. In the past a number of researchers have commented on what they considered to be the best evidence cases worthy of listing on the top ten. This case is certainly on my list. Since radar was not involved in the sighting (that we know of)
the incident got lost in the shuffle of priorities for the NICAP site
work.
The inclusion of the case update in the Spring 2002 issue of
the IUR and authored by Tom Tulien prompted me to post this case. The
original article from the oral history project was just recently
released
for internet use by the author, Tom Tulien. On 25 Sept 2005 I ran across the BB documents below. The OSI
