Ridge:
The radar log of the 663rd AN and C
Squadron, McGhee Tyson Airport, Knoxville, Tennessee contained the
following entry: "20 December 1950.1247 hours. Small paint in area (Oak
Ridge Controlled Area). Very very slow. Made perfect intercept (with
F-82 Fighter aircraft) and orbit surrounding small smoke cloud. This
report is not carried in the Blue Book listings.
