This report is listed both in the
original BB list of unknowns and the Comprehensive Catalog of BB
Unknowns by Brad Sparks. In fact, there are two events listed in the
latter for the same day, but apparently they are the same sighting.

below. Brad Sparks provided the more detailed version from his PBB
files. Dan Wilson had already done a BB Microfilm search for the period
which included the incident of the 15th of October.
Case # 819 Oct. 15, 1950.
Oak Ridge, Tenn. 3:20 p.m. AESS Trooper Rymer, J.
Moneymaker, and Capt. Zarzecki saw 2 shiny silver
objects
shaped like bullet or bladder dive with a
smoke trail, one vanished, the other hovered at 5-6
ft altitude, 50 ft away, left and returned several
times somewhat further away.
