July 7, 1947 The Rhodes Photo Case Phoenix, Ariz. Elliptical object about 20-30 feet in diameter with a visible canopy; object moving at an estimated 400-600 m.p.h., spiralled down from about 2,000 feet, then went upward at a 45 degree angle, making no sound while within view.
