At 2215 hours PDST, thirteen witnesses of the 1501st Maintenance
Squadron observed a round object with a reddish center with a halo
around the object. The object remained at a stationary
position at 5 degrees above the horizon. The object then appeared to
move directly away from the observes to the west at a high rate of
speed and disappeared from sight. The length of the observation was
approximately six minutes.
