an incident involving an object more than 500
feet from the witness. At night it is
classified as a "nocturnal light" (NL) and
during the day as a "daylight disc" (DD). The
size of the object or the viewing conditions
may render the object in greater detail but
yet not qualify the sighting as a Close
Encounter which is an object within
500'. |

| Dan Wilson: July 6, 1965; McKeesport, Pennsylvania (BB) 4:00 a.m. EDT (approx), Mrs. Hill and later her husband observed white unidentified objects in the sky. One object flew from the south towards the north and stopped at approximately an altitude of 45 degrees. Then another object came from the south and caught up with the first object and appeared to become one. Here they hovered for a minute. At this time one light flew back to the south on essentially the same path it had come while the other took off to the north. A pair of 6 X 15 binoculars were used to view the objects. The teletype INCOMING MESSAGE AF IN : 5360, states: PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION REVEALED NO OBVIOUS CONCLUSIONS OBJECT REMAINS UNIDENTIFIED.
