Animal Reaction Feature:
At 3 am, the witness was awakened by a knocking sound seemingly from the attic.  After 2 minutes, the sound became a heavier thudding type of sound.  When the witness woke her brother, the sounds stopped and a spotlight lit the outside of the house.  Their dog was noted to be curious and fixed, standing “at full alert.”  A disc with a white light was reported to be no more than 500 feet in altitude and between 100-500 feet away.  No sound was reported other than that described above.

Joan Woodward, Animal Reaction Specialist:
The witness is a female, 27, with a degree in English and Art and employed as a photographer.  She expressed an interest in psychic events.  No weather conditions or sky conditions were noted.  The area of the sighting was indicated to be woods. She was awakened by the sounds described above and then thought she heard voices in the house.  Once she woke her older brother, the sounds stopped and the spotlight shown on the house.

The only information about the “disc” is that it was first seen to the south and last seen to the east.  Its elevation was estimated as 90 degrees.

[Concerning the disc, it is not indicated if the witness went outside or observed through a window.  This sighting makes me think of a helicopter, however, the field investigator did an on-site interview of the witness.—jw]

No EM effects were reported.  The physiological effect of dizziness sometime after the event was reported.
