A few words from Richard Haines on this reproduction:

"Advanced Aerial Devices Reported During the Korean War,"

(1990).

Serious students of ufology cannot fully appreciate what is

happening today without having a reasonable knowledge of what

has already happened. History provides us with the larger

context within which current phenomena are superimposed.

An important question is: "Have UAP really changed over the

years? And if they have is there some subtle message embedded

      in these changes?"

With these kinds of thoughts in mind back in the mid 1980s

I began collecting accounts from the Korean peninsula during

the "conflict" period.  Project Blue Book files provided most of

the reports as will be understood by anyone who knows about

this period of history. Yet as I collected, studied, and reported

these cases in this little book it became increasingly clear to me

that it would be prudent (and perhaps even more accurate) to call

the aerial phenomena "Advanced Aerial Devices" and not UFO.

Now I am working on another manuscript dealing with

the Vietnam war period (1966 - 1973) in SE Asia and am seeking

new sighting reports from air and/or ground witnesses.

Please drop me a line at: arc1@att.net if you know of any, and

      thanks in advance.
