Terms: NMS means "Non MADAR Sightings" where MADAR was not tripped, but the quality of the nearby sighting strongly suggests that MADAR records be checked for curious spikes in data. Although some MUFON entries have been listed, it is the job of each MUFON state group under Project MATCH to provide MUFON listings of potential sightings of interest. Note: NOL means node was not online at the time of the incident.

1/2/2023 Albany, NY
1:00 AM. Obvious Craft - possible lost time. Driving southbound on New York State thruway in Albany NY. We noticed what was first thought as a plane falling from the sky. As it got closer we noticed that there was no sound and thought it was going to crash on our car (killing us) when this cigar shaped object stopped in mid air about 2 football fields away and slowly started flying away. We kept watching this object because we were now in shock when it seemed to accelerate at a speed so fast it was in space in a matter of seconds. When we got home our time was hours off. I felt off so much so that I couldn’t even go to work for around 4 days. [No compelling data from the nearby MADAR site at Schenectady only 15 mi NE]

1/4/23 Forney, TX
9:15 PM, Obvious craft, Chevron shape - Anomalistis motion, hovering, On January 4th at 9:19 I was outside smoking a cigarette. I noticed a large chevron shape hovering in one spot. It had lights running along the outer edge and at times appeared to move from left to right. I took the footage and zoomed in and you can tell there’s a cylindrical vase like structure sitting inside the chevron shape with a hole in the center. The object at time can be seen emitting a tail from the center at times in the video and the lights appear to also pulse brighter and softer at times (have more footage). [forney is only 18 mi south of MADAR site 171 at Wylie, but the data for 9:19 PM was problematic.]

1/5/23, Nazareth, PA
6:03 PM, Anomalistic motion, I was looking out my window and saw a blur of light I thought was an airplane at first but it was too low. Then I saw it moving back and forth side to side really fast - got it on camera going back and forth. It kind of disappeared into the trees if the woods on the other side of 33. It may have landed but it didn’t really look like it did it looked more as if the trees covered it. Pic. [Not good observation]

3/6/2023 Great Smokies National Park, NC
3:20 PM, Huge silver craft, Driving from Tennessee toward Cherokee I caught a flash of reflective light and looked out my driverside window toward the ridgeline. I was shocked to see a massive, silver metal clad object, It disappeared behind the mountain, and then reappeared as the ridgeline dipped and then disappeared again behind the next peak. I did not see the leading edge or the trailing edge, no wings, windows or markings. It was very low, the object was massive, as long as a foot ball field at least. I am an air force veteran, and I have never seen anything fly like this. [Insuffient data in description]

1/6/23 Savannah, GA
3:38 PM Saucer Shaped craft, Was moving slowly through the sky. Large and appeared to be at an altitude of approximately 5k-8k. Was saucer shaped, rounded on top. The lower half looked silver while the upper dome was more orange/gold, possibly reflecting the sun differently than the bottom, or possibly a different material. No discernible front or rear. No sound. [Nearest MADAR sites are 210 miles (Lawrenceville site 210) and (Ball Ground site 129]

1/10/23 Salem, OR 7:15AM Cigar shaped craft, Large fat cigar shaped 2 miles south of Salem hovering with 2 large lights like head lights, thought it was a bus size drone, Large cigar shaped drone like sphere with 2 headlight no sound no movement approx 300 hundrend feet above ground .Saw the same thing from a different location of Salem just as sun down above the same spot.It disappeared as though it knew I was looking. Weird!

1/10/23 Cumming, GA 3:05PM Tic Tac white craft, White craft moving fast and pretty low, 40’ long craft flying fairly low, maybe 20,000 feet, heading northwest across 400 over Cumming Tuesday January 10, 2022 at 3:05pm. Clear sky, no clouds. I noticed it was all white, no wings, no exhaust, no lights, no trail so it couldn’t be an airplane, helicopter, blimp, or hot air balloon. This object was moving rapidly. By the time I grabbed my phone to get a picture or video, it was too far away then it was gone. [Pending Inv]

1/11/23 Palm Bay, FL 7:55PM Cigar shaped craft, Bright green object flew over house, Roughly 15 minutes after my family and I noticed an extra light on the Big Dipper a very bright green object flew right over my neighbors home. The object had no visible trail, made no noise and appeared to generate its own boundary that looked sort of like a fat cigar silhouette but of glowing green. It passed so low, I’d estimate no more than 50 meters above the roof conservatively looking east towards Big Dipper the objects direction of travel was north to south, the object seemed to just appear and disappear with absolutely no apparent explanation. [Not a good candidate]

1/12/23 Dobson, NC
5:12AM Triangle craft, Left my shop walking to my house and heard a unfamiliar off and on swishing sound, looked up and saw a triangular shaped aircraft gray metallic color, three red lights centered underneath and one white on each outer point. It didn't make a jet engine sound but a slow pulsing sound that was I was almost unable to hear, I watched come and go over my land in a straight line. When it passed over the tree line I couldn't hear any sound at all. [Possible candidate but not a head-turner]

1/15/23 Saint Petersburg, FL 11:57AM Disc shaped craft, I noticed a glimmer of light in the sky in the east. Definitely a solid object that reflected sunlight, like a metallic reflection. A few seconds later it reappeared straight ahead of us. I was able to get a very clear look at it. It had a metallic surface. The sunlight hit the top side, it was longer than it was tall, with curved top… or domed top, the bottom was not being lit up with sunlight, so it was dark and seemed to look flat. When it appeared it faded away. [Area is less than 14 miles SE of MADAR site 140 at Largo, but the data isd not compelling at all]

1/22/23 Fowler, California 11:17PM, Diamond shaped craft, Going home from work as I was driving I noticed a bright light like the color of the sunset in the sky it was in a diamond shape it was about 400 feet above ground but as I kept studying it , it would get nearer to the earths ground it was going up and down around the fields, I saw the entire craft go dark from the upper part of it but the bottom of the aircraft had small low beam lights and they blinked in a pattern in threes, it didn’t make a sound - no engine it was just silent. [Fowler is 117 miles SE of Watsonville site 105]

1/23/23 Hilmar, CA 9:03PM, Oval shaped craft, Craft hovered in the northern sky, it then rapidly moved to the western shy and hovered in a lower position for about 45 to 50 minutes then vanished. It was bright and appeared to have lights on both sides of the craft with a dark space in the front. It also appeared to be oval or triangle shape. *Pic. [Astronomical, visible too long and shape has issues]

1/23/23 Winters, CA 11:55PM, Opaque oval shaped craft. I was looking at stars and to the right of this cluster seemed to be many falling stars. The falling stars then
became an object coming toward my location. The object’s oval body was opaque blue/black with transparent wings. The wings had about 5 white lights on each wing. As the object flew closely overhead there was no engine sound, no high pitch sound, only the sound of air moving in the quiet sky. From wing to wing the object is about as long as two roof tops of 1500 square foot homes. [CIR filed but there was no contact information at all.]

1/24/23 Clearlake, CA 6:40PM, Disc shaped craft, the object would move in circles then drop very fast the move again very fast back upwards the to the right. The disk object with lights under it was moving in a circular movement it dropped from its original position super fast then raised back up slowly the lights were flashing. *Pic [Not compelling]

1/26/23 Montclair, CA 12:40PM, Disk shaped craft, just got home and parked my car. I was looking up at the sky and saw a white light like a shooting star falling down but it was very close/low. I knew it wasn’t a star because it curved back up and then proceeded a little more and disappeared into the sky even tho it was so low. It was disk shaped, maybe had a sphere. It had lights like rings around it like Saturn. The lights on the perimeter were red and a white. It flew unnaturally fast and glided in the sky. Next thing I know it’s gone. [Not compelling]

1/26/23 Naugatuck, CT 7:08AM, Circular craft, Driving up through route 8, saw two aircraft just sort of hovering in the air. I am an experienced pilot and flight instructor, so seeing things in the sky is normal to me. What isn’t normal is how these two aircraft moved and hovered. I saw two white circular objects in the sky. They just stayed stationary for about 5-8 minutes before slowly beginning to move Westbound. They maintained equal distance apart and went the same speed when moving. The shape, white color
illuminated by the rising sun, hovering and movements just seemed off and unlike standard aircraft. *Pic [Not compelling]

1/26/23 French Settlement, LA 8:24PM, Cigar shaped craft, A tic tak shaped craft. That was seen for about 5 seconds. Me and my friend Kerry. We were just talking in my backyard. I so happened to look up and saw this craft traveling north/west. The craft came from behind the trees. Traveled for about 5 to 8 seconds. At one point the sun glinted off of this object. Then it pretty quickly vanished. This was in the middle of the day we saw this. It had no wings, white, cigar shape, no exhaust or no sound. [Nothing really of extraodinary nature]

1/27/23 Clarkesville, GA 9:29PM, Large aircraft displaying three blinking lights approx 500 feet above ground noiseless stopped briefly while moving slowly (10-15 mph). I was outside on the back porch of my mountain cabin next to a fire pit when I noticed some lights seemingly stationary behind the trees but high in the air about 1/2 mile away. There are no towers or tall buildings in the area. As I watched I realized the lights were part of an arrangement of three bright flashing lights affixed to a single object. The lights were
moving slowly right to left in a northwest direction along the ridge line. They remained about 300-500 feet above the ground, slowing to a near stop briefly and then continuing. There was no sound. The object slowly disappeared behind the mountain top. I was able to capture it on video. [Not compelling]

1/27/23 Aiken, SC 10:16PM, Triangle craft, Gazing up at the full moon. Clear night. 5 or 6 large long triangles with red lights at the ends. I thought they were satellites. The Strange thing about my story is that the next day I was driving to Hilton Head, SC and I found a photo on my phone. I don’t remember taking. I think they were following me. Possible time loss case. *Pic [Thought they were satellites? Not earth-shattering evidence]

1/28/23 Littlestown, PA 8:39PM, Tic Tac craft, Driving at night on a back road and saw a pill shaped object hanging in the sky above the road. It looked like a radio tower with no tower. They had to drive under it and it did not move. Her friend rolled the window down to look up and there was no sound. The object had no tail, no wings, and a row of glowing lights around the edge of it. [Lacking details]

1/29/23 North Bend, OR 7:08PM, I returned home to watch it still hovering in the sky. I began to photograph the object and each photo showed a seemingly shape-shifting from a tear drop shape, to triangular shape and then to a more permanent flying saucer shape that hovered in the sky. In some pictures there appeared be cloud ejection at right angles to the flying saucer shape. I called North Bend Police department and an officer arrived. He witnessed the object and can confirm he saw the object. *Pic Just not taht interesting]
