Analytical Notes NMS Sightings from NUFORC & MUFON

Terms: NMS means "Non MADAR Sightings" where MADAR was not tripped, but the quality of the nearby sighting strongly suggests that MADAR records be checked for curious spikes in data. Although some MUFON entries have been listed, it is the job of each MUFON state group under Project MATCH to provide MUFON listings of potential sightings of interest. Note: NOL means node was not online at the time of the incident.

These are my findings:

5-2-23 North Richland Hills, TX 8:45AM. I clearly saw a black hollow triangle shaped jet or space
craft with 3 red lights at each point moving very slowly maybe doing a survey.. the object had NO middle to it or it was
invisible through the middle. I could clearly see the sky and clouds straight through it, but right above was a triangle with
3 lights at each point slowly moving through the sky it disappeared into the clouds i suppose it went higher but i waited
20 minutes waiting for it and couldn't see it anymore for sure.

5-2-23 Buffalo Junction, VA 12:15PM. I was travelling home to run some errands at lunch around 12:15 on Hwy 58 east bound near Buffalo Junction. I saw a silver oval shaped object flying approx 300 feet left to right across 58. I was watching it while driving and when it got directly over 58 it disappeared. Completely clear blue skies. It was probably 1/4 mile ahead of me so if I had to guess the size I would say about the size of a compact car. [Virginia Beach MADAR site is too far, over 160 miles to the NW]

5-4-23 Hickory, NC 9:45PM, Cigar shaped craft, West heading east looked like a pencil shape with solid lights maybe 6 feet apart object seemed a mile away and mile up no sound. Coming from west to east, no sound - a string of lights looked to be 50 yards long maybe 2000 feet AGL. Im a pilot! Traveling horizontal maybe 80 to 100 knots absolutely no sound 9:45 @ night Hickory airport control tower closes at 9 PM. Or they would have seen it! [MADAR site 183 at Moravia Falls, NC showed no data 28 miles NE]

5-5-23 San Bernardino, CA 4:45PM, Large Bus Like Dark Gray Rectangular craft, I was traveling west on Highland Ave to pick up our dog’s arthritis medication and saw coming out of the cloudy sky a dark gray aircraft that resembled a large bus due to its rectangular shape and it was traveling north to south. I thought is this a blimp ? Realizing that I have never seen a rectangular blimp in my life. This flying object was no aircraft I was familiar with. It seemed to be flying faster than a blimp yet slower than a plane. I can’t say how far the objects distance was from me but it wasn’t very high in the sky. I pulled into the veterinarians office parking lot in hopes of capturing a video or picture but the object was now hidden behind large Perris Hill Park Trees. I have been searching google to see if any one else witnessed this UFO here in San Bernardino California but there is no reports so far. I know I wasn’t the only person to see this UFO. I anticipate some sort of reports to confirm that there was definitely a strange flying object in our skies!! [MADAR site 56 is 50 miles NW but has been offline and was finally Z-d out of the system.]

5-5-2023 Arvada, CO 9:25PM, Orb-ish shaped craft, Saw a bright flying object in the southern sky seemingly tapered at both ends flying east to west at a low altitude. Friday night at 9:25 I was driving south on CO-93, just west of Leyden Rock and south of Coal Creek Canyon Rd, when I saw one bright flying object, orb-ish and seemingly tapered at both ends, flying east to west at a low altitude, easily in commercial airspace below the clouds. I pulled up FlightAware immediately and saw no commercial aircraft in the vicinity. The object was very bright and relatively large, easily distinguishable from stars or satellites. I had it in my sight for less than 30 seconds as I lost sight after it flew over the nearby foothills. [Not good candidate]

5-6-23 Franklin, IN 5:51PM, Disc shaped craft, It started like a ship looking then changed into a round craft. Was mowing yard, looked up a seen it called my daughter outside we watched it change shapes. There was an aura or haze around the object. *Clear pic [Under Investigation]

5-8-23 Hazle Township, PA 12:30PM, Tic Tac shaped craft flying alongside Jet – pic shot from window of plane, Object was flying aside a commercial jet liner that was flying very low. * Clear pic [No clear pic of UAP]

5-9-23 Boulder, CO 1:17PM, Triangle shaped craft, Was Taking Photos with an old Kodak camera, The exposure wasn't right, and the glare and blur is noticeable. Large Triangle ship moves across the sky at around a relative speed of 50-60 MPH. Large gaps were visible on the ship, and it was such a spectacle to observe. *Clear pic – also, second one that speaks of seeing sections in craft that could be seen all the way through!! 5-10-23 Hendersonville, NC 9:12PM, Disk shaped craft, there were lights on the object, Night sky lite up. Looked like a Ferris wheel shaped spinning object above the trees in the distance. Went down and disappeared. While driving I saw the night sky light up. I asked my fiancé to what could possibly be lighting up the sky like that. We both looked and saw a Ferris wheel shaped spinning object above the trees in the distance. The sky kept lighting up. The object went down and disappeared. [Two MADAR sites 88-90 miles; 35 at Maryville, TN to NW and 183 at Moravan Falls, NC to the NE - but no compelling data]

5-11-23 Coxsackie, NY 10:37PM, Circular shaped craft, Was sitting on my couch on the phone when I saw a very bright light on the water of the lake in front of the house. The moon would have been behind me at this time not in front of me so I was intrigued. Walked outside and saw an incredible bright light in the sky. I took some pictures and ran inside to get binoculars. After viewing through binoculars you could make out the shape and structure. Bright lights on top and bottom of the circle with a perimeter of smaller lights wrapped around the outside/middle of the craft. The craft was stationary and visible from the western hemisphere for around 15 minutes then took off towards Greenville NY heading west. *Pic [Sighting just not that interesting]

5-12-23 Bucksport, ME 9:04PM, Triangle shaped craft hovering over lake, Some soft engine noise slow moving @75 feet up from the bay headed east northeast inland. Three lights triangular positions. One flashing light, all lights were white.Soft engine noise. Slow moving. Tilted some as it turned more northerly. Low flying slow moving. Could be a drone but it was quite large maybe 20 feet across. Craft not visible in the dark but lights were fixed in triangular shape as it passed almost silently over Main Street as I was looking toward the bay it was in front of me then it was to my left as it disappeared over the trees. [Sighting just not that compelling]

5-12-23 Inola, OK 9:53PM, Triangle shaped craft hovered over house, There were lights on the object, Moving up and down below cloud level. No sound. Moved in unison. Hovered around 10min. Then headed north. Wasn’t moving fast. Triangular light formation hovered over my sons friends house for about 10 minutes before heading north where another individual spotted the same formation. The lights seemed to move up and down into and out of the cloud cover. After hovering for a bit it moved off slowly in a northward direction. [Not a good sighting]

5-12-23 Owasso, OK 11:10PM, Anomalous movements, Triangular shaped craft, lit at the points, erratic movements, fast! We were awaiting a big thunderstorm to roll in and sky watching from our balcony. Just a a few hundred feet or less above us, Came diagonally overhead our apartment headed almost directly East &; quickly just above the clouds (clouds gave a foggy look to craft). The tip of the triangle was the front of the craft and on each tip of the triangle was a ring-like light, spinning and changing directions at odd and random intervals. Almost like it was completely a full revolution on each ring tight tip. Each ring light spun at different direction, at different times, and changed directions at different times. It had a white/blush hue through the clouds. The triangle itself also spun and rotated at weird intervals. Almost like aerial pit maneuvers? Like you would see fired jets do. It was maybe the size of large four door suv but wider, but also a few hundred feet in the air, so hard to tell for sure, but smaller in size relative
to a hot air balloon, but way larger than a drone or kite. It was so fast that I couldn’t grab my phone and hit the camera icon quick enough. I’ve never seen ANYTHING like it. Oddly enough, Owasso has had extreme weather randomly dissipate before reaching us, or create “donuts” around us with us in the center. I wonder if this could be related? [Just not interesting enough]

5-15-23 Fenton, MI 4:35PM, Disk shaped craft, Shiny metal flying object hovering low. Spotted a metal object in the sky at a very low altitude. The object was hovering in one spot above the freeway and looked to be a disc shape with a central light. Underneath the object it appeared to be a plane shape but was not moving and just hovered for about 15 seconds in one spot. I captured a video of it and after a few seconds of recording the object blurred itself from my camera. When I looked back at the object after passing underneath it, it had vanished without a sound or trail. *Clear pic [Not subject of photo]

5-15-23 Lawton, MI 10:30PM, Triangle shaped craft – Anomalous movement (disappeared), Triangle shape with 3 bright lights at each corner, moved slow, disappeared when it got above us. The object had no sound, no blinking lights, moved very slow, no trail. It was brighter than the surrounding stars. When it was above us, it disappeared. Duration was approximate 3 minutes. The body of the triangle looked sky dark. About 5 minutes later, we noticed 3 similar sized lights to the east, only in a straight line. Not connected to a constellation, nor was it Venus, which was more to the east and brighter. I felt uneasy, we went inside. [Lacking details]

5-16-23 Tucson, AZ 7:00PM, Disk shaped craft – anomalous movements, The object appeared as we were still in a High School football stadium outside during a graduation ceremony. We (many around the seats were sitting on) noticed a disc shaped object hovering over the Santa Catalina Mountains above the city of Tucson to the east of our location and north of Tucson.. At the beginning of the sighting, it was a hovering without any lights. Many of us speculated that it was an airplane - only it was not moving. The object simply hovered for about 10 minutes high in the sky. We attempted to take a phone but out camera photo was not capable of Suddenly the object begins flashing a single white light then it appeared to have more than one light flashing. Some people thought it was a plane from the nearby Air Force Base (Davis Monthan) but it was not moving - just hovering. Some thought it was a helicopter but again it was not moving. Suddenly it moved very rapidly from the east of us to the south of us. I would estimate it moved about 20 miles directly over Tucson. No airplane - military or civilian- could possibly travel this distance in about 3 seconds. The object hovered over Tucson for only a few minutes then flew directly downward, almost appearing to be in a free fall. It disappeared after that. [MARA site is a hundred miles NE and data not interesting]

5-18-23 Hurricane, UT 1:27PM, Disk shaped craft – anomalous movements, I Saw what looked like a long cigar shaped object and another tiny flashing light zipping around it. Cigar shape maybe as large as two train cars in length. Floated up and around and down in all directions. Slow moving. Thought it was a balloon but it floated a few times without moving. Then in one of my videos there is a second tiny object with a flashing light zipping around the larger object and then takes off superfast. [Apparently not a hi-tech craft]

5-19-23 Walpole, NH 2:45PM, Triangle shaped craft, Two gray fighter jets were chasing a dark gray or black triangular shaped craft headed west. I’m unsure the elevation they were at but looked to be about 1.00” long. I would guess they were 5000-8000’. They were doing slalom like maneuvers which is what caught my attention. They were moving so fast it caught me so off guard I didn’t even notice the black triangular aircraft at first. The triangular craft was seemingly just moving, if that makes sense. As in, there wasn’t the expected movement like the jets. Almost as if I was blinking very quickly as it would move, but I wasn’t blinking. It definitely seemed like the craft was easily outmaneuvering the two jets. Unfortunately I couldn’t react fast enough to get pics or video. [XXX]

5-19-23 Redfield, AR 11:21PM, Triangle shaped craft – tree top (100ft), Huge spaceship floating over the car. First let me start with nctr only has one way in and one way out. I have been going to this place since I was 16 years old, I have never seen anything of the sorts here. My fiancé and I drive this road At least 1 time every day on good days we will drive it 2 maybe 3 times of the day. It’s my favorite place. Tonight we had an amazing lightning storm which we don’t normally get. I decided to go later in the night since my kid was staying with my cousin. It was 11 when we turned down nctr and went over the train tracks. I immediately noticed a star in the sky and announced to my fiancé that was weird being as the sky was so cloudy from the storm. He started to pay attention to it more at this point, he says did that just move I told him I didn’t know I couldn’t see it from the windshield he said holly shit it did move it changed from a one star looking light then it spread apart into 3 star looking lights with 3 red lights in the tips of the triangle on the bottom of the ship my fiancé said “look out the window I got the steering wheel” I did a quick head tilt to the left out of my window and I saw 2 white lights with a red light flashing between the white one I stated “that’s just a tower baby” immediately I realized there was no tower in the field there is actually a pond down in a valley right in that area and it is now open almost all of the trees have been cut to where you can see down to the pond. Once again 5 seconds go by and my fiancée is grabbing the wheel again telling me to look out of my window that I wouldn’t believe was I was fixing to see that he thought if I didn’t look right then I was going to miss it. I rolled my window back down enough where I could tilt my head to the side again but this time, I couldn’t see it I stuck my head out of my window and looked straight up above my car. It was SO HUGE!!!!!!!! I can’t even explain the texture of the ship. It looked shiny but gooey like if you were to touch it slime would be stuck to your hand it was most definitely a black vessel. it was as low as the trees I’d say only 100ft above my car I felt in immediate danger and took off keep in mind the speed limit is 45 on this road and yes if my daughter isn’t in the car I ride 5 over so I was going 50 mph I speed to the river and just sat there for a few seconds trying to get the courage up to drive back down the road to get out of nctr to come back home for the night. It was exactly 11:22 when I looked out of my window and the ship was above my car did I mention there was NO SOUND!!!! It was just hovering silently no wind from it no sound waves after I took off nothing!!!! There was a car behind me at the time but I am not sure if they saw it they kept going I assume they live down there somewhere they were going just as fast as I was I hit 70mph trying to get somewhere safe feeling to turn around. I was so excited at first then my body just told me to run!! We finally talked ourselves back up to leave I called my mom as soon as I got service and made her stay on the phone with us because we were freaking out looking the whole sky trying to see where it went! We NEVER FOUND IT!!!!! It was gone by the time we made it back down the road! That confirmed it WAS NOT A TOWER. I realized afterwards I never heard one cricket the whole time I was down the road which is extremely not normal. [XXX]

5-21-23 Panama City Beach, FL 10:02PM, Triangle shaped craft, Low flying Triangle/V Silent six amber lights. On the beach a few minutes after 10 pm, craft became visible but obscured by cloud cover directly overhead. After approximately one minute, craft became fully visible for a full minute, moving very slowly and silently, before vanishing in the clouds. Way too large to be a drone. My background is in higher education, Ph.D.. Otherworldly - unlike anything I have seen in my fifty years of life.

5-21-23 Milwaukee, WI 7:30PM, Disk shaped craft – Anomalous movement, There were lights on the object, The object changed color. Numerous craft zipping in an out of clouds there;s well over a hundred zipping in an out of clouds they appear to have a dim light that goes off also have some sort of invisibility capabilities as you can barely see them except for a small glimpse of a disk-shaped crafts flying extremely fast then disappearing. [XXX]

5-22-23 Jordan, MN 8:24PM, Sphere shaped craft, Saw a black sphere glide of into the horizon, then saw 2 more glide off to same spot. At first I thought it was a paragliding craft. But it was solid black and sphere shaped. It was moving fairly fast. I saw two more coming right above me. I took two pics and a video. 5 Min. *Clear pics [XXX]

5-22-23 Buffalo, NY 9:59PM, Possible V-shaped craft/ unknown – Anomalous movements, I witnessed these 2 ships or planes traveling at unbelievable high speeds with instant 180 and 90 degrees turns . Unrealistic, but I saw it, I witnessed 2 flying objects traveling at unbelievable speeds, in formation for about 10 seconds before I pulled my camera out to snap only one picture before they disappeared in an instant . Unbelievable, and now I’m definitely a believer now that I witnessed first hand something I can’t explain , even with all the knowledge I’ve learned in 42 years I still look at this picture just in amazement and what makes it even better is that’s the North Star and Jupiter in the picture when it was snapped. *Pic [XXX]

5-23-23 Florence, SC 9:15PM, Changing shapes – Anomalous movements, Videoed a bright object changing colors and shapes and moving faster than man has accomplished. Husband stepped out and yelled to come. He saw it zooming around about 30 seconds before I started filming. A bright object, no shape at the time and changing from red to blue to green. It started moving horizontally faster than man made. Not as high as Chinese Spy balloon which I also saw and videoed. Not as high as airplanes along the flight path. Could have been so large that it looked lower in the sky. Turned into a circle, changing colors then blinking. Shape changed from circle to shapeless streaks darting so fast I don’t even think the military has anything that fast. We were skeptical but nothing else explains it. Just like in Close Encounters when it flew around the mountain road as people stood there. There was only one object and it darted around so fast and went behind the tree line. Someone was shooting fireworks to the northwest. We heard no sound at all. Video was too long to load. [XXX]

5-25-23 Hope, ID 7:59PM, Cigar shaped craft, A cigar shaped very illuminated yellow white and iridescent light ship traveling rapidly to the south west, coming out of the north. Cigar shaped heavily illuminated light ship traveling at a high rate of speed, coming out of the north heading southwest, over Lake Pend Oreille. *Clear Pic [XXX]

5-26-23 Henderson, NV 10:23AM, Round metallic craft – separate with orbs, Observed a round metallic object with bright flashing red light (like a welder;s torch) 3-5 miles away with two white orbs. At approximately 1023 AM while walking northwest along Canyon Village Parkway near Mint Orchard Drive in Henderson, Nevada I had just completed my morning jog when I observed an extremely bright red flash in the skyline just to the east of Black Mountain towards Las Vegas. I then witnessed what appeared to be a round metallic object continue to flash in an extremely bright red light similar to a welding torch. I thought at first it may have been an aircraft reflecting sunlight as the sun was to my back, but it remained stationary approximately 3-5 miles due northwest at about 45 degrees above the skyline just to the east of Black Mountain from my location. It continued to flash brightly for a couple of minutes. There seemed to be no pattern to the flashes. After about 5 minutes, I then witnessed two bright white orbs appear from the east and west of the flashing object. The two orbs were smaller than the first object and stopped to each side adjacent to the flashing red light. The orbs were illuminated in a very bright white light and remained solid in color. After five minutes, all three objects disappeared. There was no sound and I could not tell which direction they went as they just seemed to vanish. As a military veteran, I have no explanation as to what these objects could have been. I definitely know that they were not any aircraft or any balloon. [XXX]

5-30-23 Morgantown, WV 6:20PM, Orb shaped metallic craft – low elevation, Metallic orb flew over our house - silently and at low altitude. Sitting on back deck in early evening. Watching planes overhead and tracking with Flight Tracker app. Noticed an object coming towards us. It seemed to be a low altitude, but I would be guessing - maybe around 2,000-3,000 feet. It was low enough and close enough to the ground that we could visibly see it spinning. It was a round, shiny silver orb that seemed to have small fins on it that would glisten in the sun. That was how we knew it was spinning - we could literally see it turning. It flew very smoothly, in a straight line, directly over our house from south-east to north-west and out of sight. No sound. No blinking lights. No exhaust or contrail. I took a video which I will try to upload. If you zoom in on the video, you can see the object get bright and dark as it spins. It was not a plane - I checked the flight tracker app. It was not the ISS, it came over (north to south) several hours later. I am familiar with rocket bodies, comets, balloons, etc as I track a lot of things in the sky. This was completely different and very much what I have heard described by other sightings of metallic orbs. It was unlike anything I have ever seen. My wife experienced the same thing I did and she is a huge skeptic of UAP/UFOs. If my video uploads, check out the second object that appears to come from the top of the screen and pass the main object at the :24 second mark - could be a bug, but we only caught it by going frame by frame. UGH - I can;t upload the video - that;s all I have. If you;d like to email me, I will gladly share it. It;s certainly not a fantastic video, but you can see the object spinning by the sun/dark/sun pattern. "Honey, there;s a UFO - grab my worst camera!" Ha ha! [MADAR site 265 right in Morgantown has been offline since 5/14]
