ANALYTICAL NOTES      NMS Sightings from NUFORC & MUFON
                                         AUGUST 2024 

It is my job each month to select potential sightings of interest from the NUFORC printout (National UFO Reporting Center). The number varies from 30-50 each month. This NMS list is then submitted to the MADAR Operations Officer, Fran Ridge. Although some MUFON entries might have been listed, it is the job of each MUFON state group under Project MATCH  to provide MUFON listings of potential sightings of interest. Non MADAR Sightings (NMS) are entries where MADAR was NOT tripped, but the quality of the nearby sighting suggests that MADAR records be checked for significant spikes in the data.

Once I get the NMS list from the MADAR UFO Officer I go over each case narrative and select incidents that I feel a scientist or serious researcher would consider as good supporting, documented evidence of some type of advanced aerial vehicle. Using an FI-5 Procedure Guide or Case Evaluation Worksheet I obtain the latitude and longitude of the sighting and generate a registration dot on the MADAR Map to see where the nearest MADAR site is in relation to it. Based on the quality of the sighting and the location I then check the data logged on that MADAR site. This NMS shows the status of each case. NUFORC UFO Sighting 182456, Occurred: 2024-08-01 00:25 Local, Reported: 2024-08-01 23:09 Pacific, Duration: 5 minutes, No of observers: 2, Location: Sylvan Lake, AB, Canada, Shape: Triangle, Color: Dark grey, Estimated Size: The size of a small bedroom, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: Above, the sky direction, Angle of Elevation: 90, Closest Distance: The highest a bird can fly. Don't know. Estimated Speed: Slow but kept same speed at all times. A triangle craft with 5 circle lights around flew over my house slowly. We were at my backyard hoping to see northern lights or shower meteor or shooting stars. When suddenly appeared the triangle object from Red Deer side , high as the highest a bird could fly. Big as a small bedroom ,it had 5 round light around. Not sound at all. Slow flew over us and our house towards Rocky mountain house. As I kept looking the wide back part started moving like changing shape. So I got scared and send my daughter inside the house .I stayed by the door kind hiding, but a few seconds later I went back to check and it was still there going same direction and I went inside the house. A minute later I took courage I went outside to my front door to see if I could still see it. No, there was nothing this time. I wish I didn't see it.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182552, Occurred: 2024-08-01 03:40 Local, Reported: 2024-08-08 11:24 Pacific, Duration: About 10 minutes, No of observers: 2 – Pilot, Location: Fort Edward, NY, USA, Location details: Outside of Fort Edward near farmland, Shape: Cigar, Color: Green, Estimated Size: About the size of a 747, Viewed From: Aircraft, Direction from Viewer: East then north, Angle of Elevation: 27, Closest Distance: 200 to 300 ft, Estimated Speed: Anywhere from 800 to 1000 mph I would say, Characteristics: Lights on object, Aircraft nearby. Bright green cigar shaped craft flies past our plane. I am a pilot I want to keep myself anonymous because my co-pilot tried to report this and got grounded. It was around 3:40 to 4:00 a.m. and we were flying into a local airport we were dropping off a couple of people who were coming back from basic training in the military. We were over the Fort Edward area over some farmland when my co-pilot pointed toward the mountains and said what is that green thing? I looked over and realized that it was just a solid green light that appeared to just hover. I was thinking maybe it was some sort of tower on the mountain and told my co-pilot what I thought as we continued to fly he ended up pointing again and saying it moved. I looked over and it was closer probably within about 500 ft of us and it appeared to be flying toward us, in my mind I was thinking maybe it was a private plane, that may be possibly somebody had put wrong lights on it. I told my co-pilot to turn the cockpit lights on and off hoping that maybe we would get some sort of response. When he did that the light got brighter and then blinked out. This has been the course of about 5 minutes and now I was kind of suspicious because planes don't just shut their outside lights off in the middle of the night. Within about 30 seconds I ended up being the one to see it this time probably about a mile away from us it had somehow gone from about 500 ft to our right side to about a mile away over another mountain, within the span of 30 seconds. This time I could view it from the side and I realized that the light was in the shape of a cigar, I would say more like a cigarette because of the length. I said do we report this and my co-pilot just stayed silent staring out the window. It didn't appear to be moving relative to the lights on the ground. It then made a slow turn to where it was pointing in our direction again and just looking like a ball of light and then flew past us very fast. When it went over the cockpit it couldn't have been more than 200 to 300 ft above us and I could see that it appeared to have rows of windows in the front, no wings whatsoever and I realized that the green light we're coming from these bars on the side running the length of this object. That was all I could really see within the quick glance. My estimate was it went about a mile away from us to flying right over us in the span of a couple of seconds. My co-pilot open the door to see if anybody else was awake or saw it and everybody in the back was asleep so he came back and said I'm reporting it. I said okay we can do that and I got on the radio and asked if there was any other planes or aircraft in my vicinity and was told no. The controller asked me if I had seen something and I said yes and he asked me to switch frequencies which doesn't often happen. I switched and he said we had somebody about five to six miles away from you earlier say that they saw a row of green lights is that what you saw. I said no it was object it appeared to be an aircraft with no wings it did have a two green bars of lights and they were so bright that it lit the whole object up. he then said switch back to regular frequency and begin your landing approach. When we landed we were questioned by a man I'm not sure who he was but he was wearing a nice blue suit and they took us to a small room and asked us what we saw and to draw it out. he asked if I wanted to file a formal report and I said no and left my co-pilot however did want to file one and ended up grounded the next day. I live in upstate New York but not this area but I do have a family member who lives out towards the area where we saw this object. I called him up and we were talking and he said that people see stuff like that over the farmland and into the mountains going toward Vermont all the time. He told me that him his wife and other people in the area are of the belief that these lights and things that they see are military in nature. I tend to lean on that as well. I figure what we saw could have been a drone of some sort but it was very large I would estimate that it was at least two times the size of our plane which would make it about the size of a 747. It had no noise that we could hear from the cockpit I know that probably doesn't help because you can't really hear much outside of a cockpit, the bars of light on both sides almost reminded me of something that I saw when I was in the military that they had put on helicopters to signal from a distance. My thinking was that this was a large UAV that they were possibly using to signal Jets or something in the area. My co-pilot is of different thinking and I believe that could be the reason he was grounded. He seems to believe that it was something not from here. I believe that some people may have seen this as some farmers do tend to wake up very early but according to my great uncle who is the family member who lives almost in the exact area over which this sighting took place it's almost a common theme out there and nobody really reports it. From what I was able to deduce they believe it is military because they see military helicopters and planes fly over on occasion during the day. It is mountainous area very hilly not flat and my great-uncle says it almost looks like a European country in this area. He even had a farmer who lives down the road from him who had to kick a bunch of men with flashlights off of his property about 2 months ago and they were wearing military fatigues. So it is my belief that this was something military and that maybe they're using the area for training. I know there is a national guard area close to where this took place. And I do know of one or two areas in the general vicinity that aren't official but where military personnel take off in helicopters. My thinking was that maybe this was a UAV of some sort that they were using almost as a North star in a sense that's the only thing I can really think of. Sorry for rambling on but my mind is absolutely blown by whatever it was and the only thing that I can think rationally is military. If I'm being irrational and a conspiracy theorist I guess I could say it was extraterrestrial but I just don't buy that. Like I say and I want to reiterate that I do believe this was some sort of military operation and I say that just in case somebody connected to my company or to the local airport finds this report and tries to have me grounded.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182458, Occurred: 2024-08-02 03:45 Local, Reported: 2024-08-02 04:20 Pacific, Duration: About 20 seconds, No of observers: 2, Location: Caldwell, ID, USA, Location details: North of I-84 headed westbound, Shape: Cigar, Color: Illuminated, Estimated Size: 100 times bigger than any planes seen at night, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: North of me headed eastbound then changed direction to northeast as i was recording, Angle of Elevation: 45, Closest Distance: Close enough that i knew it was abnormal, Estimated Speed: Was gone in less than 20 seconds of recording, Characteristics: Lights on object. Was outside noticed in my peripheral the object as it was full of light so I grabbed my phone and recorded as best i can for 20 seconds. It was a long cigar shaped or caterpillar shaped object with a lot of light emanating from it. I seen it and immediately grabbbed my phone from the car and tried to record it. It was traveling eastbound north of the interstate. As i recorded it, it continued eastbound then made a change of direction slightly north. After the direction change it became immediately less visible then vanished.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182771, Occurred: 2024-08-06 11:25 Local, Reported: 2024-08-25 07:48 Pacific, Duration: 5 min., No of observers: 1, Location: Jasonville, IN, USA, Location details: 500n. 1500 w.greene co. ind., Shape: Circle, Color: silver, Estimated Size: 30 ft, across, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: straight above me less than 50 ft., Closest Distance: less than 59 ft., Estimated Speed: 20 mph, Characteristics: Lights on object, Made a sound, Electrical or magnetic effects. It woke me before midnight with a loud humming. It was humming like an electrical hum so loud my walls were shaking. My wife slept through it . The next day I thought I was dreaming . My neighbor next door about a 100 yds away . Before I could ask her if she seen it, she said Don do you know there was a spaceship hovering above your house last night

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182592, Occurred: 2024-08-10 22:22 Local, Reported: 2024-08-10 22:58 Pacific, Duration: 10 maybe 15 seconds, No of observers: 1, Location: Maplewood, WA, USA, Location details: On my balcony through the trees., Shape: Disk, Color: Red white green, Estimated Size: Maybe 20 feet, it was a disk, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: Facing me so northwest. Angle of Elevation: 30, Closest Distance: About 100-200 feet, Estimated Speed: 50-60 MPH, Characteristics: Lights on object, Changed Color. I was standing on my balcony watching the moon and then I saw it. Before I start you should know I’m not going to give this a massive grandiosity take this at face value and with a grain of salt. Like I said in the summary it was through the trees directly facing me. Now to get to the details it had flashing lights with colors like red white possibly green, it was very slow moving I could trace it with my eyes. You should know that I am a skeptic of this sorta of stuff I am a semi nonbeliever with any things similar to like Bigfoot or the moth-man. It had a disk shape or I assume it was partly obscured by trees only one was observed, something interesting was I felt no fear only curiosity.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182660, Occurred: 2024-08-10 14:04 Local, Reported: 2024-08-16 09:58 Pacific, Duration: 4-7 mins, No of observers: 1 – Military, Location: Indianapolis, IN, USA, Location details: 3210 East 96th Street, Carmel, IN, Shape: Cube, Color: Black, Estimated Size: Maybe the size of a small car, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: Northwest, Angle of Elevation: 42, Closest Distance: 1-2 thousand feet, Estimated Speed: Zero mph. Beautiful day with the bluest of blue sky and white puffy clouds. Looked and saw a black object hovering. Beautiful day while attending a car show. Looked up and thought I saw a bird, then ruled it to be a drone but the more I watched it. It was perfectly still. No wavering or draft adjusting. I was miffed and kinda in a trance as I watched. It was black and had a vertical rectangular shape but also seemed to have an upper section that tapered in and I could see that it had a slight metallic soft sheen to it that was like a very dark amber color in that section. I took my phone out to record and it was dead. I then asked the guys with me sitting with their backs to it. If they could see it. They looked and asked where was I looking and I said look northwest at about the 11 O’clock position. Of the two who were really looking, one didn’t see it as I was pointing to it and the other said he saw something but wasn’t sure what it was as when he started to focus in on it, it went further up slowly into the clouds. It was the damndest thing I’ve seen during the day. It had to be about 1k to 2k in elevation at least and no sound, no contrail, no nothing. Just a black box hovering and oddly enough disappeared when I was trying to point it out. I’m former military and a retired 42yr veteran of the Indiana State Police. I know what I saw and this would be my second experience of this nature with my first being an age 9, and now at 67 years old. Also after the object ascended into the clouds, at least two jets came into the area flying in a northeasterly direction, each within a couple of minutes of each other and just a few minutes before the object ascended. The jets didn’t appear to be military but hard to say as they were much higher and moving fast!

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182600, Occurred: 2024-08-11 04:10 Local, Reported: 2024-08-11 14:03 Pacific, Duration: 30+ minutes, No of observers: 1, Location: Newark, NY, USA, Location details: Heavily wooded area outskirts of village, along the county line, Shape: Triangle, Color: Changing rapidly, Estimated Size: School bus, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: Moved from west to east, the first I saw in the front yard directly overhead moving to east, retriev, Angle of Elevation: 15, Closest Distance: 40ft, Estimated Speed: 20mph, Characteristics: Lights on object, Aura or haze around object, Left a trail, Emitted other objects, Emitted beams, Changed Color, Animals reacted. Took dog out saw one UAP went in and got phone videoed at least six. After returning the dog in the house and retrieve my phone, I took a two minute and 34 second video, but became Frightened. I videoed and witnessed at least six triangular shaped craft changing color and shape flying in a very unnatural pattern approximately two football fields from where I stood. Two of them expanded into a globe shape and then into a ring, and then immediately back into seemingly solid object. *Video

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182661, Occurred: 2024-08-14 22:00 Local – Approximate, Reported: 2024-08-16 11:54 Pacific, Duration: 10 minutes, No of observers: 2, Location: Buffalo, NY, USA, Location details: We were out fishing in Lake Erie out of Buffalo Small Boat Harbor, US side, Shape: Triangle, Color: Black, Estimated Size: 50 - 75' triangular, Viewed From: Boat, Angle of Elevation: 45, Closest Distance: 1 mile, Estimated Speed: 0 - 1000 then 0 – 800, Characteristics: Lights on object, Aircraft nearby, Two triangular craft. At jet altitude, below clouds. Hovering over Canadian side of the Lake, A friend and I were out night fishing in Lake Erie, NY out of the Buffalo Small Boat harbor. My friend was constantly looking for meteor showers, because they were expected. Somewhere around 9:45 - 10:00pm. While I was looking at my fish finder, my friend said, “I’m trying to understand what I am looking at, here”. Before I even turned around to see what he was talking about, I immediately thought “Star-link”… but when I turned around, I was almost in shock. There were red lights surrounding a white light (The red lights pulsated while ‘tracing’ the perimeter of the craft) - completely stationary, hovering in the sky 45 degrees from where we were, over the Canadian shore line.

The entire event was around 10 minutes of not taking our eyes off of the crafts.
The craft closest to us made some crazy, jarring, geometric moves. First, it moved around half mile to a mile down 45 degrees from its initial stationary point. Then horizontally in the opposite direction then back to its initial point. Then fell like a leaf from that point. And stopped dead in its tracks - hovering below. Then back to its original position again. All over these maneuvers took a fraction of a second to accomplish. There was no evidence of acceleration, just stop or go.

After this show of agility, the craft furthest from us, took off straight into Canada and the other craft crossed the Lake and went into the US, at a steady fast speed. We watched until the craft was out of site.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182671, Occurred: 2024-08-15 23:58 Local, Reported: 2024-08-17 08:49 Pacific, Duration: 10 minutes, No of observers: 2 – Pilot, Location: Sterling, Illinois, United States, Shape: Orb, Color: White, Estimated Size: Airliner size or bigger, Viewed From: Aircraft, Direction from Viewer: At our10 O'clock position as we were flying East /Northeast, Angle of Elevation: 25, Closest Distance: 15miles or so, Estimated Speed: 1000 mph or faster, Characteristics: Lights on object. My Co-pilot a former Airforce pilot pointed out 3 objects to my attention. We saw UFOs dancing around in the night sky above us near southern Illinois while we were at 35,000 feet, we were on our way to Cincinnati/ Kentucky airport from Austin Texas. My Co-pilot , a former U.S. Airforce B1 Bomber Pilot pointed them out to me .......we saw three UFOs . I tried to take a picture and a video but they would fade in and out and disappear at times. One of them shot straight up and down erratically and then disappeared. I could not get a good picture or video as they would suddenly disappear and just reappear flying around in circles around each other,like playing around or dog fighting. They were not fighter jets, at that altitude according to my Co-pilot they must have been at 60,000 feet or so according to our estimates over southern Illinois and jets simply cannot fly that high. There were thunderstorms in the area at the time…. These lights were bright! We saw three of them.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182729, Occurred: 2024-08-16 12:00 Local – Approximate, Reported: 2024-08-21 17:02 Pacific, Duration: 30 minutes, No of observers: 1, Location: New York, New York, United States, Location details: I was out on a deck @ 160 Pilot Street, Shape: Cube, Color: Black, Estimated Size: ?? 50 ft square, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: Due East, Angle of Elevation: 90, Closest Distance: A quarter mile, Estimated Speed: 30 mph, Characteristics: Aura or haze around object. I was observing the moving object and have drawn a photo of the encounter. I was out on our back deck overlooking the Long Island Sound reading. It was about 10:30am when I Sat down. The weather was slightly foggy, very quiet ( no planes overhead) and all of a sudden to the right I saw a dark square object moving in my direction; so I watched it until it was directly in front of me about a quarter mile off. I was trying to figure out what it was! It made no sound. It slowly continued moving NE and when it turned I could see it had some depth to it - shaped like a pizza box! Then it slowly continued NE until it faded out of sight! *Drawing of Cube attached.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182758, Occurred: 2024-08-19 21:56 Local, Reported: 2024-08-23 21:15 Pacific, Duration: Several minutes, No of observers: 1, Location: Arlington, NY, USA, Location details: Side yard to the right, Shape: Rectangle, Color: White, Estimated Size: Unknown, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: South west, Angle of Elevation: 48, Closest Distance: 400 ft, Estimated Speed: No speed, Characteristics: Lights on object. Saw something in the sky behind my house. Went outside to look for the full moon but it was very overcast. Saw this in the sky. No noise, not moving. *Pic attached

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182739, Occurred: 2024-08-22 03:00 Local, Reported: 2024-08-22 13:26 Pacific, Duration: 10 minutes, No of observers: 3, Location: Bountiful, Utah, United States, Location details: 40.89498981227474, -111.87096832286714, Shape: Disk, Color: shiny, metalic color, Estimated Size: as big as like an ice cream truck, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: idk, Angle of Elevation: 3, Closest Distance: 100 feet, Estimated Speed: wasnt moving until it went to the move fast. Characteristics: Lights on object, Changed Color, Marks found on body afterwards. Last night, I was up late studying for an exam when I happened to glance out the window at around 3 am. But then, I saw a strange shiny metallic disk hovering low in the sky in my front yard. I was like "what the f__k how did this happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"I thought it might be some kind of drone or aircraft, but it was completely silent and moved with incredibly smooth, fluid motions. The disk seemed to have multicolored lights flashing around its edges, and it appeared to be much larger than any drone I've ever seen. I watched in fricken awe for several minutes before it suddenly shot off into the night sky at an unbelievable speed. The whole experience was truly surreal, and I can't shake the feeling that what I saw was unlike anything I've ever fricken witnessed before.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182743, Occurred: 2024-08-22 21:48 Local, Reported: 2024-08-22 21:09 Pacific, Duration: 1 min, No of observers: 2, Location: Salem, IN, USA, Location details: South Mill Creek Road driving away from Becks Mill towards Salem Indiana, Shape: Triangle, Color: Blackish, Estimated Size: like a more geometric stealth bomber I guess. Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: Right above our car on a country road in the middle of nowhere, Angle of Elevation: 45, Closest Distance: Very close. I'm not good with numbers. 100 feet, Estimated Speed: Hovered for a while. I don't know how fast it sped,

NUFORC Explanation: Meteor – Possible, Characteristics: Lights on object, Emitted beams. Large bright blue/white lights shined down right on top of us. I told my friend from Louisille to check herself for burns tonight. My friend and I decided to drive out to Becks Mill on a leisurely drive after we went out to eat. We were leaving the mill heading back to Salem. I had my right arm and face outside the Window looking up when this object was right over top of us dropping an intense light like a gigantic flash light right on top of us. I'm still pretty scared typing this. When the light went off I saw a triagular black shape.. Maria stopped the car hit the flashers on a very dangerous road at that time of night but we hopped out. I was screaming. So we were freaked out and got back in the car and drove to West Hackberry Street. She dropped me off at my home and she went on to her place in Louisville, Ky. I put my cell down and went to the bathroom.. when I got to my phone Maria told me over 80 people were reporting seeing "Something" at 9:45 and I remember we definitenly didn't see it til 9:48. Now, I've contacted 2 meteorologists and people are saying it was absolutely a meteor. Maybe it entered like a meteor - I know what we saw. Is it possible a craft could enter like a meteorite? We had an intense beam of white/blue light right on top of us.. Like close encounters but the light was blue and white. It was too intense and sustained.. Meteors flash across the sky not hover above on one spot. I'm telling you.. If they try to say it was just a meteor than there was something else using it as cover. We saw what we saw. I know what I've seen is more than a meteor.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182768, Occurred: 2024-08-24 17:30 Local, Reported: 2024-08-24 21:54 Pacific, Duration: 10 to 12 seconds, No of observers: 1, Location: Overland Park, KS, USA, Location details: 38.918330 -94.674541, Shape: Oval, Color: silver metallic, Estimated Size: 20' diameter, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: south southwest, Angle of Elevation: 60, Closest Distance: 1/2 mile, Estimated Speed: 200 to 300 MPH, Small metallic object, low altitude, straight path, constant speed. Sitting on back porch at about 5:30 PM August 24, 2024. Not really sure about the exact time. Saw the object approaching from the south southwest. There are some fairly tall trees both to the south and north. The object flew in a straight path and constant speed. The time it appeared over the south trees to when it was out of sight to the north northwest behind the north trees was about 15 seconds. The object was fairly low for a flying craft. Hard to judge how high, maybe a 1,000 feet or so. Hard to judge how fast it was going, maybe 200 to 300 MPH. The object was dark when I first saw it. When it got by me the sun shown on the back side and it looked metallic silver. The shape looked like 2 oval or egg shapes attached, but offset. It was not very large. I’d guess about 20’ diameter total. It did not look like it had any wings. There was no exhaust trail. I had headphones on that block exterior noise and was listening to music, so I heard no sound. But I suspect it wasn’t making any. I’m a 74 year old civil engineer. Still working.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182943, Occurred: 2024-08-30 21:47 Local, Reported: 2024-09-06 17:26 Pacific, Duration: 2 seconds, No of observers: 1, Location: Mount Shasta, CA, USA, Location details: Upper panther Meadows, parking /-camping area. Shape: Light, Color: Yellow, Estimated Size: Maybe 5 ft from top to bottom? Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: It was coming toward me from the southwest, Angle of Elevation: 5, Closest Distance: It got as close to me as 30 ft. Estimated Speed: At least a thousand miles an hour. Characteristics: Left a trail, Emitted beams. Fast yellow light zigzagged from meadow to parking lot - I was camping in the upper panther Meadows parking lot. I was stargazing for about a half an hour and I saw a few planes and falling stars. It was Friday night so I also saw some headlights coming up the mountain. After a while the traffic seemed to calm down. I was sitting in my chair with a wide open gaze upward looking at the Milky Way. Then, Out of the corner of my right eye I saw a yellow light which I thought was another headlight or a flashlight. When I lowered my head to look, I saw a very fast light zigzag once. It was yellow. It came out of panther Meadows tree line. Crossed the highway past me and went into the mountain on the other side of the parking lot. It took between 1 and 2 seconds and looked like a yellow zigzag light. It was so fast that I am not sure if it was an orb. It was about 30 ft above the ground.

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182862, Occurred: 2024-08-31 17:00 Local, Reported: 2024-08-31 18:50 Pacific, Duration: 15-20 seconds, No of observers: 1, Location: Williamston, MI, USA, Shape: Disk, Color: chrome, Estimated Size: 30-40 feet, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: above, Angle of Elevation: 85, Closest Distance: 10k-15k feet, Estimated Speed: 2k-4kmph before accelerating out of view, Characteristics: Aura or haze around object. A chrome disc flew soundlessly across the sky and seemed to be rotating. It flew much faster than any plane. I was relaxing and looking up at the clear blue sky when a somewhat reflective chrome disc flew soundlessly in the sky above me. It crossed the sky above me in 5 or so seconds and seemed to rotate before picking up speed as it flew away from me towards the horizon. I also witnessed a strange visual anomaly around the object. The air seemed to be warping in a perfect cricle surrounding the object. The best way i can describe it is like a painting of a clear blue sky with the canvas raised or ridged in a perfect circle

NUFORC UFO Sighting 182855, Occurred: 2024-08-31 23:45 Local, Reported: 2024-08-31 22:33 Pacific, Duration: 10 seconds, No of observers: 2, Location: Nacogdoches, TX, USA, Shape: Other, Color: Black/Grey/Disguised, Estimated Size: 40-50 ft wide, Viewed From: Land, Direction from Viewer: North, Angle of Elevation: 90, Closest Distance: 100 ft, Estimated Speed: 10 mph, V shaped UFO. My family and I were coming home at 11:45pm. My kids went in the house and my husband and I were outside getting stuff out of our vehicle when something felt weird. I want to say I felt the energy before I saw it. I looked up and coming over us was a huge V shaped object. I’ve seen Starlink and this was not it!!! It was about as wide as the length of about a school bus and it was gliding past very slowly with no sound at all and no lights at the height of the tree line, so pretty close. We live in a country setting where we see a lot of stars and the object was blocking the stars. I cannot pinpoint a color. It’s almost like it was a dark color, but it was trying to blend in with the grayish color of the night sky. I wouldn’t have noticed it as much if the stars hadn’t been so bright tonight and they weren’t being covered. It simply passed over us. I looked at my husband and he was looking up at it as well. I said “Please tell me you see that!” He was visibly shaken and said “We just need to get inside.” I watched it fly over and then when it went near the trees in the distance about 1/4 mile away I didn’t see it anymore. I stood outside and watched the sky for about 5 minutes before going inside. I have always believed in the supernatural and I am shaken. This is not something I would ever take lightly or lie about because I believe with my whole heart that there is something/others out there. I have to add my husband on the other hand is a huge skeptic and does not believe anything he doesn’t see and for him to admit he saw it as well really messed with his ego and gave me the satisfaction that I am not going crazy. I feel so excited to have witnessed it!!! ENDREP
