This worksheet is designed to assess the possibility of a correlation with a qualifying potential sighting of interest and a credited MADAR anomaly and involves working with the known sighting date and time in UTC and the immediate state, or sometimes the adjoining state. If that protocol is met, the sighting and node locations will be taken into consideration.

1. INITIAL SOURCE:

October 6, 2021; Kent, Ohio
8:03 pm. Witness is a member of the US Army, gunnery trained to identify many vehicles and went to school for aerospace engineering. The object he saw does not match any craft that he is currently aware of. Its speed, direction of travel, and apparent flight height should preclude it being any traditional aircraft following his knowledge of regulations. On 10/06/21 while traveling westbound on Ohio state route 59 known GPS location 41°09'03.5"N 81°22'30.0"W he observed a flying object traveling approximately 60 miles an hour bearing 070. He would estimate its height at around 600 to 800 feet. The object had 3 distinct lights in and maintaining a near perfect triangular pattern during the entirety of its time in his sight. Blink pattern consisted of one light staying on and then the other two lights blinking, with the solid light alternating between two points of the triangle and the blink sustaining for roughly one half second every second and a half. At first he believed it to just be a plane coming from the nearby airport, however, its flight height and light pattern were inconsistent with the craft he would normally see in the area. Once he realized that this was an oddity, he quickly grabbed hisy phone and captured a video as the object traveled over his vehicle. He pulled his vehicle over at the same time, however the object had already disappeared over a tree line. He was not able to get a more steady picture or video. The video I is attaching, although only having the object in frame and in focus for a few seconds, clearly shows the light pattern, light color, and blinking pattern he has described above. (NUFORC)
