FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: APRIL 2024 ISSUE

NEWEST MADAR SITES

ARKANSAS - Node 325 is operated by William Moore at Mountain home. The city of Siloam Springs has node 323, operated by Cal Smith. This makes 5 MADAR sites for that state.
Czechia - Chris Marzullo set up a node 322 in the Czech Republic
MISSOURI - The 13th MADAR site in Missouri is node 324, operated by Virgil Alcorn at Joplin.
TEXAS - The city of Clyde now has its 10th active MADAR site (321) operated by Julie Ayers.

The MADAR Network continues to grow in the United States, and on into Australia, Canada, Czechia, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands, Philippines, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The MADAR Project currently has 181 sites running with 33 in various stages. Presently, 69, or 50% are now DAS-equipped, which means the site teams can be alerted by an alarm system, go out and gather more data with selected equipment. Very soon anyone with a GMC-500 geiger counter will be able to plug this device into their MADAR and have readings logged right on their spreadsheets! And more surprises are in the works. The project has  275 members.

UPGRADE TO LEVEL II
If anyone wants to upgrade to a Level-II, all they have to do is add a DAS (about $20) and/or the SMS, or find somebody nearby who wants to "slide down the pole" when the action starts. That's something I wouldn't pass up.
