FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: JULY 2024
ISSUE
NEWEST MADAR SITES
ARIZONA - Chris Marzullo operates an extra
state site at Peoria, node 322.
ARKANSAS - Mark Wentz is the
operator of node 334 at Mena, one of five nodes in that
state.
COLORADO - Ryan wood operates the 5th site at
Broomfield, node 336.
NORWAY - We finally have a MADAR site
at Hessdalen, a famous UFO research area. Jan Wesselberg just
moved 188 from Hamburg, Germany so it was reprogrammed
for the new site.
OREGON - Ryan Wood is the latest Op in Oregon's group of 5
MADAR sites, site 336 at Broomfield.
The MADAR Network continues to
grow in the United States, and on into
Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland,
Japan, the Netherlands, Philippines,
Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The
MADAR Project currently has 169 sites
running with 47 in various stages.
Presently, 58, or 30% are now DAS-equipped,
which means the site teams can be alerted by
an alarm system, go out and gather more data
with selected equipment. Very soon anyone
with a GMC-500 geiger counter will be able
to plug this device into their MADAR and
have readings logged right on their
spreadsheets! And more surprises are in the
works. The project has
276 members.
UPGRADE TO LEVEL II
If anyone wants to upgrade to a Level-II, all they have to do
is add a DAS (about $20) and/or the SMS, or find somebody
nearby who wants to "slide down the pole" when the action
starts. That's something I wouldn't pass up.
