FLORIDA - Miami has a new MADAR site operated by Timothy Busch.

The MADAR Network continues to grow in the United States, and 11 countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands, Philippines, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Norway. The MADAR Project currently has 224 sites, with 173 running and 51 in various stages. Presently, 66, or 29% are now DAS-equipped, which means the site teams can be alerted by an alarm system, go out and gather more data with selected equipment. Very soon anyone with a GMC-500 geiger counter will be able to plug this device into their MADAR and have readings logged right on their spreadsheets! And more surprises are in the works. The project has  273 members.

UPGRADE TO LEVEL II
If anyone wants to upgrade to a Level-II, all they have to do is add a DAS (about $20) and whatever additional equipment they can afford to take out during an alert.
