SUGGESTIONS
1. Operator needs to find a good "E-M quiet" spot by tuning a
transister radio to the left end of the AM dial
and walking around the room, listening to "E-M interference". Or, if
Op has an EM meter, with the MADAR unplugged from the wall outlet, a
reading between zero and 1.5 milligaus should be sufficient. A
reading showing an RF greater than that, or a "noisy" AM radio
signal, will lessen the chance of detecting a change in the earth's
geomagnetic field. Inches can make the difference.
2. Average Ambient reading (Column 5 on the spreadsheet) needs to be
between 500-1000 and indicates local EMF is very high. Same remedy
as 1.0 above.
