Fran Ridge:
This is apparently case #11 of Major Dewey Fournet's "motions study" UFOs cases as presented to the Robertson Panel in January of 1953, whereby he deduced that UFOs were guided by intelligence and the flight characteristics indicated that the intelligence was beyond "us". Two Pentagon Colonels in a B-25 reported three silvery triangular UFOs sped past their bomber at an estimated speed of 1,000 mph. Official Blue Book "unknown". [UFO Evidence (1964), page 21]

3:40 p.m. (MST). USAF HQ Directorate of Operations Lt. Cols. John L. McGinn (Deputy of Ops, Fighter Br) and John R. Barton (AFOOP-OP-D) flying E in a B-25 bomber at 11,000 ft and 185 knots airspeed saw 3 silver white, delta-shaped or arrowhead-shaped objects at their 1 o'clock position slightly larger than the size of F-86's (40 ft), each with a ridge along the top, in V-­formation, cross in front of and above the B-25 from right to left (S to N) at about 1,200 to 2,400 ft away at about 1,800+ mph.
