cooperation of the original compiler of RADCAT, Martin Shough, to create a comprehensive listing

Francis Ridge:
July 1, 1952; Fort Monmouth, New Jersey 9:30 a.m. Two silvery objects were tracked at 50,000', moved
slowly,
hovered, and with a reported terrific burst of speed moved to the
southwest, seen visually and on radar. The incident coincided with
other visual observations. As Ruppelt, himself, stated, without
injecting any imagination or wild assumptions, it looked as if two
"somethings" had come down across Boston on a southwesterly heading,
crossed Long Island, hovered for a few minutes over the Army's
secret laboratories at Fort Monmouth, then proceeded toward Washington.
And it didn't end there. NARA PBB1-56 lists the case as explained as
"insects".
